A Guest House in a class of its own, and a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of metropolitan Johannesburg, with Hosts that went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. An awesome view over the Magaliesberg Mountain Range from the balcony and bedroom. The bedroom was stylish, well appointed and had the most comfortable beds. Breakfast was a delight and the fresh fruit salad topped it all. To Dave, Ed and Richard we want to congratulate you, and wish you every success in the future. You went out of your way to make our stay a wonderful experience. We will be back and will recommend Northcliff Palms to our friends in Germany

It is a fantabulous place in Joburg. Your mind will be free with good people around, value for money standards, excellent panoramic view to the rest of Johannesburg and obviously good care of your appetite needs. I never believed the website until I got there. I do not regret the hospitality. It is indeed next to none.

I've stayed at the Northcliff Palms repeatedly. It's wonderful. The location is beautiful, the venue itself is very comfortable, and extremely well appointed and maintained. The hospitality is first rate - unobtrusive and thoughtful, and the host Dave is helpful and charming. Breakfast is very good indeed.

Wow, what can we say. Northcliff Palms was truly amazing!! Dave and Ed were fantastic hosts and have completed an amazing job on this Guest House. We celebrated New Year's Eve on the balcony with amazing views overlooking surrounding Johannesburg. The Fireworks were spectacular...The Guest House is so comfortable and we were treated so well. Breakfast was awesome too. We truly recommend a stay at the Northcliff Palms.

We had the most wonderful time. The hosts went out of their way to be accommodating and hosted a birthday function for me, over which everybody raved. I can describe my experience as tasteful, elegant, classy, professional and extremely friendly. The food was fantastic, their wine selection spot on. The rooms had all the comforts you can think of plus views, views, views! Seeing the Highveld thunderstorms’ thundering as far as the eye can see was quite and an experience. I have stayed several times at the guest house during 2009, and every visit was fantastic! The rooms are stylish, comfortable and suitable for the business man or the leisure traveller. The hosts (Dave and Ed) are charming, interesting and above all concern about the comfort and requirements of their guests, ensuring a memorable stay. Breakfasts are fantastic! (Best fruit salad in town.) For me it is nearly home away from home. The guest house is close to all major roads and getting on the free way is easy and quick, even during rush hours. Northcliff Palms is my first choice of accommodation when staying in Johannesburg.

Absolutely fantastic. Amazing value for money, outstanding service, comfortable, convenient, everything you would ever need in accomodation in Johannesburg.
The rooms are large, beautifully furnished, comfortable beds, some with double showers, all with large flat screen tvs.
Public areas are enormous and tastefully furnished.
Breakfast is included and very good.
Dave is an excellent host and was able to deliver on any odd requests.
Don't stay anywhere else.

With out doubt this is probably the best guest house that I have stayed in. I was made to feel at home from the minute I walked in the door. The house is in a great location with spectacular views and easy access to all amenities. Dave is a excellent host and cannot do enough to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. If you are going to stay in Johannesburg, there is only one place to stay at that is here at the Northcliff Palms.

From the arrival this was a perfect stay in Jo`burg. How is it possible allways to be so serviceminded? Theese guys are unbelivable!!! All our peculiar wishes were met with a big smile and "no problem".

Excellent - could not fault anything. The location is perfect, the view spectacular and the accommodation is superb. The beds are extremely comfortable and I can guarantee you have a good nights sleep every night. Facilities are excellent too and the breakfasts are delicious. Awesome!!! Very stylish and luxurios. The beds are the most comfortable one can find and the oversize showers are the perfect start to any day, especially after a night of pure comfort.

Hosts were great and offered the very best in service - I really felt at home.
The beautiful view from my private patio was stunning and made me wonder whether I was in Joburg or not. Well done guys, you really have put together a 5 star + guest house. I would recommend Northcliff Palms to anyone and everyone, even if I had to drive from Pretoria or Rosslyn, the comfort and luxury is worth it.
